>>>HOW TO USE LK TOP COATS<<<

Preparation: Prepare the entire surface as you normally would before applying any paint. Clean the area with acetone or 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any oils, dirt, or contaminants. Allow the surface to air dry for 30 minutes before applying LK Top Coat to allow all solvents to evaporate.

Application: LK Top Coats should be applied with an airbrush with a tip size between .2mm and .7mm with air pressure between 25 PSI and 35 PSI, or with a mini spray gun with a tip size less than 1mm. Spray topcoat directly at the surface from 3 to 5 inches away with an airbrush, or 4 to 8 inches away with a spray gun. Apply top coat in even coats by working from side to side and top to bottom while overlapping each previous line to create medium wet coats. Allow the top coat to air dry for 10 minutes before using a hairdryer on low heat to speed up the drying process if needed.

Drying and Curing: Allow LK Top Coat to air dry for 10 minutes between coats. For full cure and maximum durability, allow 12 hours before handling or wearing the finished product.

Coverage: One 8oz bottle of LK Top Coat will cover approximately 15-20 pairs of shoes depending on the size and surface area being coated.

Storage: Store between 50°F and 80°F and away from long-term exposure to direct sunlight to prevent oxidation. Long-term exposure to temperatures over 120°F and below 30°F may cause a loss of product performance. Keep lid closed when not in use to prevent drying.

Clean Up: Clean all tools immediately after use with water, acetone, or our 4012 airbrush reducer. Clean-up of dried top coats requires harsh solvents such as M.E.K. or volatile paint strippers. Clean all traces of sealer out of your airbrush or spray gun immediately after use to prevent the product from drying inside the body!
